[CLOSED] INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY IN PRETORIA

Lawyers for Human Rights is inviting applications from law students with an interest in human rights law and public interest litigation to apply for the volunteer internship programme in the Refugee and Migrant Rights Programme based in the Pretoria Law Clinic.

The Pretoria Law Clinic assists foreign nationals with issues of documentation and access to education, health and other services.

LHR aims to advance human rights and provide high-quality legal services to those who cannot afford private legal representation.

Please note that our internship programme is fully unpaid and is full-time.

Requirements:

• law students or graduates,
• available for a minimum of three months, full time.

Other disciplines will be considered provided there is an interest in Human Rights

Skills and attributes:

• proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel),
• legal research and writing skills,
• solid communication skills,
• adaptability and willingness to learn.
